Vintage Cahaba Styled Shoot

On a beautiful overcast day, we ventured into the woods next to the most romantic, intimate spot right by the Cahaba River. The textures were dreamy. Moss covered rocks and boulders. The tree cover protected us from the rain and provided all the whimsical feels. The river provided after-session intimate lifestyle moments as the couple waded into the water!

The lacy tea-length wedding dress was the initial inspiration! We built the styled shoot to match those vintage vibes. Pulling a picnic area together and highlighting it with lace panels hung between the trees. After vows and portraits, the couple sat down for their "cake cutting" we traded the cake for mini donuts from sons donuts and it was a favorite moment.

Fog rolled in over the river and the rainy day vibes pulled out the greens perfectly!
